*Our inaccuracies in relief pitcher usage have forced use to revisit the way we do things. In order to simulate more accurate usage we'd need to make changes. We will need to decide on rest rules so relief pitchers will no longer be able to be used as frequently as they have in the past. This includes how we will be able to use closers. Starting pitching also be changed, as they will become fatigued easier (as well as having to pinch hit for starters if they are fatigued when their next at bat occurs).
- Going forward, our rosters will be 14 batters and 11 pitchers (currently it's 16/9 other then Shane). If the rules work, a team will no longer be able to function with any less then 11 relievers.
*Players who roll out will only be allowed one plate appearance in the game. Hypothetically, it could occur at any time during the game I suppose. We'd need to talk briefly about that before we made any final decisions.
I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of them at the moment. I will update with them when I do.[/b]
